On September 3rd (my very understanding wife’s birthday!), we kicked off our "Baseball Ambassadors" program with a get together with players from an excellent baseball program in Adelaide, Austrailia. But we were really impressed with their facility (they call the field "The Holy Grail" because it is so special, and the talents of their players. Given the athleticism of the Aussies, it’s clear they could become a big baseball power. And they are very excited that Little League is now coming to their area this season!
It was really terrific for us to not only play baseball with these great players, but to meet them and their families. They organized a great dinner after the game for us, and we had a blast. They gave us some great keepsakes for our time with them, which we will always treasure. It was a real highlight of our time in Australia!
